This is an opportunity for both experienced and non-experienced stewards and competitors to have an informative and hands-on day covering the major aspects of competition stewarding and rules. Come and refresh your memory, update on new rules and lay the ghost of how to do a marathon hold-up! First-timers fear not: you will be initiated gently and will be partnered with a more experienced steward at an event! The Club is also looking for people to help with the scoring of results. The stewards’ training day will start at 11.00 and lunch will be provided. The morning session will take place indoors whilst the afternoon will be a practical session out-doors: ie. bring waterproofs/snow-boots/sunglasses/sun-cream etc!
